Page Turner Magazine is a graduate magazine at Emerson College dedicated to genre fiction and art.

**Note: Only EMERSON students may submit pieces for our contests, while ANY CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT may submit for general and art submissions.**

We evaluate submissions on a blind submission basis. Please DO NOT include any personally identifying details in your manuscript or image.

Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but you must notify us immediately if your work is accepted at another publication. At this time, we are unable to consider excerpts from larger works or novels in progress.

All submitted fiction must be original and not published elsewhere (note: if you have a piece that’s on your personal or author site, still send us that sweet, sweet fiction, but if it’s in another journal or magazine, we can’t accept the submission). Please avoid including public figures, such as celebrities, in the fiction you submit. We do not accept works that have utilized AI for any part of the writing process. We reserve the right to reject submissions that promote or support racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, prejudice, classism, xenophobia, ableism, body-shaming, gratuitous sex/violence, and any other material the submissions board deems inappropriate for publication. If an author is found to be abusive or engages in harassment, we reserve the right to remove their content from our journal and to decline further submissions from that author.

In order for your submission to be considered, you must be a current  Emerson College student with a college email (.edu).

Writing Submissions should be as follows:

1. Saved as a .doc or .docx file
2. 12-point Times New Roman or Garamond font
3. Double-spaced
4. Page-numbered in top right corner
5. No more than 1,500 words
6. Follows the given contest prompt or acceptable genres
7. Edited and polished for publication!
8. All identifiers such as your name are removed from the document
